Shared Administration Service (SAS)

SSA Membership provides the opportunity to access dedicated support via the SSA Shared Administration Service.

As organisations look at opportunities to improve efficiency and save resources, the SAS provides a cost-effective mechanism by which additional and innovative administrative support can be provided. This support will help you to become more streamlined and effective and allow staff and board members to focus on the specific requirements of your sport.

Services range from minute taking in support of board meetings, policy development and documents registers, data analytics and membership data support, to graphic design and video editing, and much more.

Feedback from recent and current users of the service highlighted that using the SAS allowed them to:

  • work with their staff teams to assess issues and challenges and subsequently find easier, often automated, solutions to make work more efficient and effective;

  • immediately increase long term efficiency of systems through the increased use of automated processes;

  • complement staff resource to additionally support specific projects as well as ongoing work, including monitoring and reporting;

  • save money for specialist support including graphic design and branding as compared to hiring external resource;

  • increase short term capacity to meet interim organisational needs;

  • develop high quality graphics, imagery and videos to support branding and communications work;

  • support one-off projects such as a forthcoming event or a governance audit;

  • learn from the experience of other SGBs and share ideas;

  • develop innovative solutions to existing or longstanding problems.
