The Royal Yachting Association Scotland (RYA Scotland) is the recognised governing body for sailing in all it’s forms in Scotland. We are a membership organisation charged with looking after the interests of individuals, clubs, training centres and affiliates of the RYA in Scotland.
RYA Scotland seeks a motivated and confident individual support local organisations to develop vibrant, engaging and inspiring activity that makes a positive impact across the West of Scotland.

What you and the role might look like?
You will have the ability to work with clubs, centres, organisations, and other local partners, to help them to identify their challenges and work with them to build creative solutions that address their needs.
You will have considerable experience of working with a variety of partners using sport & physical activity to create impact and bring about positive changes for people, places and communities.
You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, organised, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of working collaboratively within a team. With attention to detail and the ability to manage several projects at once you will connect with, share information and support affiliated organisations in their development.
As a creative and curious individual, you will be keen to explore new ideas and to lead challenging conversations on how boating can develop life-skills and grow the opportunities for anyone to access boating, a sport and pastime that is available for life.
