Ken Hughes - Chairperson
Ken has recently retired as the Assistant Chief Executive of the Scottish Parliament, with considerable experience in parliamentary and governmental affairs, with a previous background in strategic management and organisational development
He has served as company secretary of Scotland’s Futures Forum, a member of the parliament's senior leadership group and has a background in strategic planning, policy formulation, organisational development and change management. Additionally, Ken has over 25 years’ senior management experience in corporate governance, major project direction, organisational development and finance. Ken believes strongly in the benefits that sport brings to individuals, communities and the country as a whole and is hugely respectful of the role played by our governing bodies of sport.
