Flora Jackson

Flora’s current role is as Health Improvement Manager (Physical Activity) at NHS Health Scotland. She has extensive experience in this field, having worked nationally with NHS Health Scotland for the past 14 years.


Flora worked initially as the Physical Activity Alliance Co-ordinator where she established the Physical Activity and Health Alliance (PAHA). Flora also led the development of the NHS National Physical Activity Pathway for Scotland and continues to manage and co-ordinates the National Health & Social Care Physical Activity Delivery Group. Flora is also a member of the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) Expert Group (WHO Europe) for Physical Activity in Healthcare Settings and National Approaches to Physical Activity. Flora sits on the Scottish Government's Active Scotland Development.
