We are looking for an exceptional Coach to join our Performance team:
- Full time, permanent contract
- Competitive salary, dependent on qualifications and experience

To be the successful applicant you will have a strong background in competitive paddlesport, especially Sprint disciplines, a track record of delivering inspiring and engaging coach-led sessions and excellent interpersonal skills. You’ll work well with others, be an excellent communicator, dynamic and innovative, and have the wellbeing of athletes at the core of your coaching philosophy. You will relish being part of a successful, geographically distributed team working to achieve the objectives set out in our strategic plan Paddlesport For All.
This role is made possible through sportscotland investment and it is supported by the sportscotland Institute of Sport (SIS). The ultimate performance aim of this programme is to develop brilliant Scottish paddlers to successfully transfer to the Paddle UK World Class Performance Programme funded by UK Sport. We are committed to providing the best support for all athletes, taking care of both performance and wellbeing, ensuring all athletes leave in a better place.
Key areas of Delivery:
- Daily delivery of training and at Performance Programme training camps and races
- Developing and Leading inspiring training environments for Performance Programme athletes
- Coordinating with Sport Services (SIS) Leads to deliver holistic support to athletes integrated within Performance Programme activities
- Engaging the wider community and creating a Community of Practice, via webinars and other opportunities
