RYA Scotland - Business Support Administrator

RYA Scotland is the sport governing body that oversees sailing and boating in Scotland. We are seeking a talented and confident individual to deliver core business functions enabling us to support organisations and participants involved with sailing and boating.

What you and the role might look like

You are a natural team player who can communicate and contribute positively across the staff team at RYA Scotland.

You will have experience in a related role with proven skills in business administration, including knowledge of IT tools and systems. You will be able to think creatively and independently about how to best utilise your technical skills and knowledge to improve the support and processes across the organisation.

A planner, who understands the importance of forward thinking, an ability to think on your feet and problem solve. You will bring both numerical and literacy skills to the role and show great attention to detail.

This is an ever-changing role, no two weeks are the same, so you’ll need to be adaptable and prioritise competing deadlines. You will also have an outgoing and approachable manner to deal with enquires from the team and from the sailing and boating community.

Remuneration and benefits

  • Hybrid working
  • Salary in the region of £23,000 dependant on experience, for 35 hours per week (although the role is full time, part time and flexible options will be considered)
  • Benefits package includes 10% pension contribution and life insurance, free RYA Membership and associated preferential staff discounts.
  • 26 days annual leave plus public holidays.
