Scottish Gymnastics - Finance Administrator

Scottish Gymnastics are looking for a Finance Administrator to join the organisation.

Closing Date: 5th March

Salary: £6,000 - £8,000 per annum
Status of Role: Part time: 15 hours per week
Fixed term contract; 6 months
Place of work: Scottish Gymnastics HQ, Caledonia House, South Gyle, Edinburgh
Days of work: 2 days per week (Tuesday/ Wednesday or Wednesday/ Thursday)

We are looking for a candidate who is keen to support the administration within the finance department. This will include process and pay purchase ledger invoices and record in Sage 50 and via BACS system, oversee the banking of cheques and cash received and contribute to the continuous process of reviewing and updating financial systems and procedures.

The successful candidate will need to have experience of providing administrative finance support in a previous role and must have experience of using sage 50. The role requires candidates to be organised with a high attention to detail, customer driven with an excellent telephone manner and be able to manage their workload. Candidates will require strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude and the ability to work on their own initiative. Candidates will need sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
